Thomas invited us over to the Fords for the opening of his mission call. He will serve in the Tokyo South mission entering the missionary training center August 7, 2013. Many of his friends from East HS have or will soon receive their mission calls as well. Opening the call was an exciting and moving experience for us all. Japan was a surprise for us all.
We took this photo a few months before Thomas turned 18. Little did we know that within a year he would be serving a mission.
Liam Hans Egbert, our youngest grandson, was born March 15, 2013 in Colorado Springs. Our oldest grandson leaves for Japan when our youngest is 3 months old.
